Martine Blue

Martine Blue  has been writing, directing, editing and producing films for over a decade.  She started out making them in a do-it-yourself style, working as a one-woman crew, and paying for the production out of pocket.

She has won nine awards for her work including The Newfoundland & Labrador 2014 Linda Joy Award and three Audience Choice Awards.  Her films have screened in film festivals across the country, internationally, and have been broadcast on The Sundance Channel, CBC and Moviola and have received distribution deals.

These days Martine is touring the film festival circuit with her gritty, dramatic feature film Hunting Pignut and her short dramatic-comedic fantasy The Perfect Family.

Martine is currently working on turning The Perfect Family into a cable TV series for the YA market and various feature film projects.
